Frank’s Removals Services – Terms & Conditions 1. Quotations All quotations are based on the information provided by the customer. Any changes to the inventory, access, or services required may result in additional charges. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. 2. Booking & Deposits A booking is only confirmed once a deposit has been received (if applicable). The remaining balance must be paid in full before or upon completion of the move. 3. Payment Terms We accept cash and bank transfer unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may incur additional charges. 4. Cancellations & Rescheduling Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled move may result in loss of deposit. Rescheduling is subject to availability. We reserve the right to charge for last-minute changes. 5. Access & Delays The customer must ensure suitable access at both collection and delivery locations. Additional charges may apply for: Long carrying distances Stairs without prior notice Delays (e.g. waiting for keys) 6. Packing Responsibilities Unless a packing service has been booked: The customer is responsible for properly packing all items. We are not liable for damage to items packed by the customer. 7. Insurance & Liability We handle all goods with care; however: Basic cover is provided for goods in transit (subject to terms). We are not liable for: Pre-existing damage Items not packed securely Fragile or high-value items unless declared in advance Customers are advised to arrange additional insurance for high-value goods if required. 8. Prohibited Items We do not transport: Hazardous materials Flammable or explosive items Illegal goods Perishable items (unless agreed) 9. Furniture Assembly & Disassembly This service is only included if agreed in advance. Additional charges may apply. 10. Time & Service Limits Standard services (e.g. 4-hour bookings) must be used within the allocated time. Extra time will be charged at an agreed hourly rate. 11. Customer Responsibilities The customer agrees to: Provide accurate information Be present (or have a representative present) during the move Ensure all items are ready for transport 12. Damages & Claims Any damages must be reported within 24 hours of the move. Claims made after this period may not be accepted. 13. Force Majeure We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. weather, traffic, road closures). 14. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse or stop a job if: Conditions are unsafe Incorrect information has been provided Staff are treated unfairly or abusively 15. Agreement By confirming a booking, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
